My H-Tech Spring order came in Green and S-Tech Box?
We wanted to make an announcement for the community that Tein H-Tech Springs have changed to green and they now come in S-Tech Boxes. But they keep the same old part # and the same old specs.
Why was this change done, we arent sure? Perhaps for cost reasons? We do wish this didnt occur as its confusing considering how long this has been a well known name, spec and color. It easier identifies the spec inside. As well there is usually a sport or race attached to it. Which we are most likely going to add to each of our spring listing. But we are building this for the few who are wondering why their springs show up in a S-Tech Box and in green. Thinking you got the wrong part can be frustrating, so even if you didnt order from us, this one is for you.
We also always suggest going to Tein directly and their website tein.com to verify the part # and spec, you will usually see another S-Tech spring with more aggressive specs, thats the real S-Tech spring. Until this is further sorted, this should at least let you know, you are good to go.
We will still call them H-Tech or S-Tech Sport, but definitely we hope more clarification will come and we will report back once we have further information.
