Godspeed Mono-SS Coilovers for Infiniti G37 Coupe / Sedan AWD (CV36/V36) 2008-2013 - True Coilover Setup

Godspeed Mono-SS Overview
The Godspeed Mono-SS adjustable coilover suspension kit is available for your Infiniti G37 Coupe / Sedan AWD (CV36/V36) 2008-2013
Want a lower stance or more control over how your Infiniti G37 AWD suspension feels without spending premium coilover money? This awesome entry-level kit offers a great starting point for lowering your vehicle properly. The kit has adjustable ride height so you can choose your stance within its permitted range. Each kit comes with 16 levels of damping adjustment, allowing you to go from a softer to a firmer response with the turn of a dial. This is a huge game changer because it lets you fine-tune the way your vehicle responds to fit your driving style and tastes. Along with the monotube design, this is a true coilover setup front and rear, so ride height is set with the shock body instead of cranking down on the springs. You get to choose a sporty, lower stance while keeping ride quality and useful suspension travel part of the setup. Whether your plans are street driving or track testing, the adjustability and entry-level budget price are a big part of the appeal. This is a huge win for anyone looking to stay on a budget but get a coilover with advanced design and benefitsāsomething many lower-priced coilovers donāt offer.
š§ Why Buy Godspeed Mono-SS vs other coilovers?
Godspeed Mono-SS gives you adjustable ride height and 16 levels of damping in an affordable suspension package. Choose the height you want, then fine-tune the damper settings to suit your preferences. What really stands out, though, is the price and the bang for the buck on this product. You can spend less and get lower quality, which we donāt recommend. You can also spend moreāeven a lot moreāand still only get marginal benefits in coilover quality. The other reason to grab these is the combination of application-specific spring rates and adjustable damping. Some people donāt realize how enjoyable a more compliant response can be on the street. When you want more control for sportier driving or track testing, you can explore the 16 damping settings and find the response you prefer.
Mono-SS is an entry-level choice for enthusiasts who value adjustability and a sensible budget. It's sportier than stock, and the damper adjustment lets you soften it up for the street. If comfort and budgeting are your goals, you have landed on a product worth considering.
āļø Godspeed Mono-SS Features Explained
Adjustable ride height
Pick your stance instead of living with one fixed drop. Set it where it looks right with your wheels and tires, and keep enough travel in the damper so the car still soaks up bumps instead of crashing over them. A sensible drop also lowers the center of gravity, so the car feels more planted.
16 levels of damping adjustment
Turn the knob toward soft for a freer, more compliant ride on the street, or toward firm when you want the body tied down for spirited driving or a track day. The knob adjusts damping, not spring rate, so you're tuning how the springs are controlled. It's the easiest way to dial in the ride after install without buying any more parts.
Monotube construction
Mono-SS uses monotube dampers: one large working cylinder, with a floating piston keeping the oil and pressurized gas apart. That stops the oil from foaming when the damper is working hard and gives heat a direct way out, so the damping stays consistent. Plenty of budget coilovers at this price are still twin-tube.
Spring preload
Because this is a true coilover setup, ride height comes from the shock body length, not from compressing the springs. Set preload to the kit's instructions, then adjust height with the body. That's how you get a low car that still has proper travel and rides right. The setting it ships at is not a finished install setting.

ā Common Buying Questions
Coilovers or a spring-and-shock combination?
Most of the time, when comparing Mono-SS with a standard spring over a stock or aftermarket shock, there just is no comparison. The coilover setup gives you a range of ride-height settings and 16 levels of damping adjustment. The entire system is built to work together; itās not just a piggyback system hoping for the best. Sometimes, with the price and installation being easier, the coilover can be the better way to goāeven on a budget. Keeping an OEM electronic damper system and its on-the-fly settings is one good reason to compare it with a lowering-spring-and-shock combination.
How will these ride?
Sportier than stock, but still comfortable for the street. Most owners tell us it rides well, and if it feels too firm, soften the dampers a few clicks. On the G37 AWD, the 14 kg/mm front and 10 kg/mm rear springs give it a firm, planted feel.
How low can I go?
You pick the height with the shock body. Leave enough travel so the car isn't riding on the bump stops, and check wheel and tire clearance before going really low.
Does this version include camber plates or use factory mounts?
No camber plates on this kit. It comes with standard-type top mounts front and rear. If you're going low and need more camber adjustment, ask us what works for your G37.
What if I need a replacement component later?
Contact us with the kit's part number and the part you need, and we'll track down the right replacement.
š© SuspensionHouse Setup Tips
- Set your tires to the correct cold pressures first. Front and rear may be different.
- Start the dampers at Godspeed's recommended baseline and drive a road you know well.
- Change one or two clicks at a time and drive the same road again. Leave height and preload alone while you're comparing damping.
- Keep left and right matched on each axle. Once the overall feel is right, fine-tune the front and rear separately. Write down your favorite street and track settings so you can go right back to them.
- If the car starts skipping over bumps, you've gone too firm. Firmer isn't automatically faster.
Adjusting the front and rear separately
More front damping slows nose dive under braking and sharpens turn-in, but too much can push the car toward understeer. More rear damping controls squat under power and can help the car rotate through transitions. Change one end at a time and you'll feel the balance shift.
For the street, aim for a controlled ride with enough compliance for your roads. For track days, change one thing at a time and compare the same corners.
